Meet Joanna
I’m Joanna, owner of Hounds Abound. Having had a lifelong passion for animals I have always hoped that one day I would have the chance to incorporate my love of animals with a career working alongside them. After many years working in sales roles, I had some time out from work in 2018 and took the opportunity to re-evaluate my future. I decided to bite the bullet and make my dream a reality! I relish spending every day with the gorgeous dogs I am lucky enough to work with and I would like to think this comes across on a daily basis for them too, inspiring a happy and fun atmosphere when we are out walking. My own pretty pooch is a 1 year old fox red labrador called Bella who is my deputy dog and Hounds Abound mascot, she delights in joining in on our pack walks. Bella is a very playful, energetic girl who loves making new friends to run and play with and welcoming newcomers to the pack walks.

At Hounds Abound we recognise the special place our beloved dogs hold in our hearts, both as loving faithful companions and treasured family members.
However, we also know that modern lifestyles can be ever more fast paced and demanding, whether due to work or family commitments, health issues, or the need for travel and time away from home. Consequently, allowing our furry friends the exercise, socialisation and companionship they require can prove to be difficult at times.
